In Sumgait there is constructing ring road that will be ready for use in September 2007. The two meters long road is intended for driving around of residential community along South-West city line. The road is planned to be laid from Mir Avenue that is located at the entrance of Sumgait city until Mohammed Asadov Street in Absheron district. The new road will be named in honour of Sumgait twin city Cherkassy.
